We had a record number of Rookie teams turn out for the event which featured the split-bracket concept during open doubles and singles. Rookie teams competed on one side of the chart while all other teams competed on the other side. As usual, the winner of each side of the chart would compete for the top of the winners. The concept guaranteed a rookie team finishing 3rd or better and 5th or better in the events.
During the five events offered, players earned race-points by entering events, winning matches, and placing 4th or better. Those players earning the most race-points where named Dixie "Bad Boy" and will receive a custom championship jacket awarded by the Southern Foosball Program. Those players earning enough points for the year 2000 title are: Dixie "Bad Boy" - Steve Dodgen of Alexander City, Alabama. Semi-pro "Bad Boy" - Tony Gamso of Birmingham, Alabama. Rookie "Bad Boy" - Ken Williams of Alexander City, Alabama.
